Description
Taxiarches is a unique traditional settlement with a long history. The stone houses, the narrow streets, the traditional fountains and the picturesque churches impress the visitor. In the village, the Byzantine church of the Panmegisto Taxiarches, the small church of Etia, as well as the Holy Church of the Dormition of the Virgin dominate.
