L'ÉTAPE Cycling Race

EY ZHN Greece and the Region of Western Greece join forces and announce the cycling race L'ÉTAPE Greece by Tour de France, coming for the first time in Greece, April 1, 2023!

In Greece and for the first time in 2023, the legend of the Tour de France meets the Greek myth in the magical landscapes of Western Greece and specifically in Ancient Olympia! Participants will have the opportunity to challenge themselves, to enjoy an unparalleled combination of Greek nature and ancient history on closed routes around the birthplace of the Olympic Games.

The Tour de France is the most popular cycling race in the world with a deep history dating back to 1903! The organizing company, ASO, wanting to bring the experience of the professional Tour de France cyclists to the thousands of amateur fans of the sport, has created the L'ÉTAPE series. With 21 countries already under its belt and adding another one, Greece, it gives every cyclist around the world the opportunity to ride unique cycling routes under the same conditions experienced by the Tour de France champions.

A unique sport, combining physical and mental endurance, speed, courage, strategy but above all passion, invites all amateur cyclists to outdo themselves by choosing one of the four L'ÉTAPE experiences:

The Race 150km

The Ride 75km

Family Ride 35km

Kids Race

For 2023 and the first race, the organization has decided to give an extra benefit to cyclists who participate and finish in the 150km & 75km categories. With the distinctive title of Pioneers they will be entitled to privileges in the races to follow with special prices, early registration in the Greek race and in L'etape du Tour, gifts and more.
