The National Park of Wetlands of Kotychi - Strofilia is a place full of secret, natural treasures. It extends from the Gulf of Patras, to just before Kyllini, and is one of the most important wetlands of our country.
Characterized as "paradise on earth", the area has more than 5 thousand acres of sandy beaches, lakes, forests with towering trees and marshes, while, thanks to the biodiversity of the landscape, depending on the time of year, the visitor can admire and a different, exciting scenery, which seems to be taken from a painting.
The wetland still has a rich fauna and from an ornithological point of view it is the most important in the Peloponnese, because it is located right on the western migration corridor of birds.
