Zacharo is famous for its magnificent and pristine beaches, as well as for Kaiafas and the thermal springs of the area.

Particularly Kaiafas beach is one of the most beautiful beaches of the Peloponnese, with golden sand and a lush green landscape surrounding it.

Behind the beach, a few meters away, one can find the famous thermal springs, a tourist attraction for hundreds of visitors every year.

On the endless coastline stretching along the Gulf of Kyparissia, every beach is unique. Bischinokampos, Kakovatos, Tholo, Giannitsochori. Beaches that look like something out of a tropical island.

The city of Zacharo is also the capital of the municipality of the same name. It is an area with an excellent commercial district, services and many different restaurants.
