Description
Katakolo, the port and resort of Pyrgos, has been an ideal destination, especially for the summer months, from ancient times until today. For several years, at approximately the height where the thicket of Katakolo is today, hot springs operated, the so-called "hot sea baths of Katakolo". This spot was chosen by older bathers to enjoy their bath, while the vapors that formed on the water created an impressive sight.
