1st Short Film Festival -ASFF- Andritsena

The 1st Andritsena Short Film Festival - ASFF will take place in August in the mountainous stone town of Andritsena, in the heart of the Peloponnese. The ASFF is another exciting initiative of the Andritsena Youth Association "Parrasioi" - one of the ancient Arcadian tribes - which seeks to bring the art of cinema and short films closer to the historic seat of the Andritsena Municipality - Krestena. ASFF wishes to take viewers on a journey through the visions, anxieties, thoughts and feelings of all kinds of artists. Thus, the Andritsaina Short Film Festival welcomes films from creators who wish to take their first step in the art of cinema, from students to independent and professional filmmakers.

The 1st ASFF will be held on the weekend of August 12th and 13th, right before other traditional festivals associated with rural Greek culture, culminating on August 15th. Definitely, a great time to visit and get to know the historic Andritsaina.

Awards: ASFF is held based on an audience award by competition – voting, without a jury. Thus, the organizing committee will give the winner-creator the "Best Film" award of the 1st ASFF.

Terms and conditions of participation:

• Each participant is allowed to submit one and only one project to ASFF.
• The winner of the Best Film award will be decided by public vote. Each viewer will be able to vote for up to 3 films.
• The duration of the film must not be longer than 30 minutes.
• All films submitted must have English subtitles embedded. If the film has English dialogue, then Greek and English subtitles should be integrated.

• - Digital copy of movie and link to download movie will be sent to  andritsaina.sff@gmail.com with indication: Movie Title, Author, Duration.
• Only films that have not been uploaded or shown on any public platform or website are allowed to be submitted.
